Dambis is 2011 Marathi family drama starring Makarand Anaspure and Shubhankar Atre. It’s a slice of life film that highlights the problems of globalisation which has taken people away from their close knit joint families to living independent but lonely lives.Dambis revolves around Parth, a kid who longs for his grandparents. So Parth’s father hires Dattu, an actor, to play Parth’s grandfather. Dattu and Parth develop a strong bond which surprises all.
