Parichay is a 1972 Hindi Drama starring Jeetendra, Jaya Bhaduri, Sanjeev Kumar, Vinod Khanna & others. Ravi tutors five grandchildren of Rai Saheb. It’s a challenging job. He gets close to the eldest child Rama. Her father married without her grandfather's agreement which created a rift between father & son. He died in poverty leaving the children in their grandfather's care. Slowly, Ravi manages to change the children's attitude toward their grandfather & marries Rama.
