Suhana Safar is a 1970 Hindi romantic film starring Shashi Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore. Sapna loves poetry and her favourite poet is Ujjwala. She flies to India from the US and sets out for a place called Phulwari, looking for the poet. She believes that Ujjwala is her dream man. Her father consults a psychiatrist who prescribes treatment for her at his clinic. Sapna runs away and meets Sunil on the way. Both dodge several dangers and he accompanies her to Phulwari, as he has fallen for her.
